Where you choose to stay on Koh Tao will depend on what facilities you want at your accommodation, how close you want to be to the beach, and what attractions and activities you want nearby. There are three main villages on Koh Tao:

Outside of this, there are a few coastal locations in small bays with clusters of resorts around them.

So whether you are backpacking, flashpacking, or living it up in luxury,  there are plenty of properties around the island that will suit your needs. The most popular options do book up well in advance, so we advise making reservations ahead of time to avoid disappointment.
