Yes, you read that right, we have a flying trapeze school on Koh Tao! Popular with families and backpackers alike, this is a truly unique experience. So if you’re looking for something completely different to do during your stay, head on down and join the circus for a day with the Koh Tao flying trapeze team! Offering single sessions and ongoing lessons, it’s the perfect outdoor activity for adventurous thrill-seekers.
No previous experience is required, and sessions and classes are available to kids from 6 and up. The Koh Tao flying trapeze staff are dedicated professionals with over 30 years of experience and an array of internationally recognized qualifications. Safety always comes first, and every student is provided with a harness and attached to safety lines.
Get the kids swinging into action with an introductory 2-hour lesson. Not only is it heaps of fun, but learning to trapeze is a great way to build trust and teamwork skills without even noticing. Classes start on the hang bar at ground level before progressing to swinging over the net, and many first-timers even manage a catch by the end of their first session. If you are staying on the island longer-term, a dedicated kids trapeze team meets and practices regularly.
Missing your exercise fix on your Koh Tao holiday? Far from just a one-time experience, flying trapeze is a great way to stay fit and stay in shape while you’re traveling. Start with some stretches to get your muscles ready, then hop up onto the trapeze for some bar strength training and net bouncing. Way more fun than running on a treadmill for your cardio workout! Aerial silk, hammock, and lyra classes are also available on request.
The Koh Tao flying trapeze school welcomes bag holders and spectators, so if flying high isn’t your thing, you’re still able to come and watch. Bring some refreshments, relax in the garden, and enjoy the spectacle of your more adventurous travel buddies giving it a go.
